While I was in Ottawa I was lucky enough to catch part of a festival called Winterlude. One of their attractions was these amazing Ice Sculptures!

These where absolutely amazing and while the pictures might not do justice to them, I can guarantee you, the artists that carved them must have spent an unimaginable amount of time on them.

If you haven’t noticed by now, they had some sort of mythological creature theme. Try and see if you can guess them all Aww common, its not THAT hard!

Meanwhile, I also thought I would try my hand at outdoor ice skating out on the Rideau Canal, which is apparently the worlds largest skating rink according to their website. (7.8 km or 4.8 miles).
