Will Study for Food

Something most of you might not know about me is that I used to be a student. I’m not talking about high school, I actually went to University and I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science and a minor in Business. Yes, I am a nerdy computer girl and not much has changed since I graduated. Anyways, back in September I made a short internet video to help out a friend with their new company, it’s called Footprint Living.

“Footprint Living is an organization that broadly supports Students. We endorse an off-campus living standard while supplying familiarity and local knowledge. We are a Community of Students, Schools and Accommodation Providers. And, people who support students, schools, and accommodation providers.”

Basically they help students find safe, affordable, and quality accommodations in Vancouver, Canada. Particularity for those students coming from outside of the Vancouver, BC area who don’t know the city very well. It can be very scary moving to a new city or country and having to deal with finding a good accommodation without being able to personally visit the place yourself. So that is where Footprint Living is here to help.

Anyways, I hope you enjoy the video and tell me what you think! <3

Seems like a cool company… I could have used something like this when I first moved to Canada.
I moved from Texas to Toronto to go to university and it was tough to find place and i ended up in a crappy basement apartment that wasnt my favorite place lol. But eventually I found a better place.

The video is good though but could use a little more info to let people know what exactly it is they do. maybe just a quick description on the page with the logo or something that says like helping students find quality residences in vancouver or w/e..

These kids (young adults) are our future– There needs to be more fresh ideas on how to help students help themselves— I know many appreciate your efforts Nadine- (cute video)-but others need to join in.

    Nice video!
I’m currently studying for a masters degree. Here in Finland studying is free and we get government aid for housing and stuff. I can’t imagine how I could ever do this without this help. I’m glad people in Canada get help too. :D
