Well this is a sad sad thing indeed. I decided to make a video about the Vancouver Riots that took place after Canucks lost in the final game of the 2011 Stanley Cup Finals.

Those are my thoughts what will happen if they lose again will there be another riot will they start acting like some European football fans, I mean soccer fans and act crazy every time they loose
People pretty much riot after every football game (car burn, window breaking, store looting, etc.). It doesn’t even matter if they win or lose. Not on the same scale, of course. But yeah, it’s pretty ridiculous.
BC is a beautiful city and hearing about this really upset me. I would expect this from a European Soccer game but not here. The Calgary Flames lose and they did not cause riots in the streets. I was upset about the game like most of us but I sure as hell would not burn cars and loot stores and cause destruction over a game! This is now out over the net and around the world and this does not portray BC well around the globe.
I was downtown when the riots started to happen and it was a horrible site. I tried to get out of the riots as quick as I could. I wanted no association with the rioters disgracing our city. I saw cars get flipped and burned and a pizza place be destroyed. It was very saddening and it hurt me. I was very happy to see people come together and clean up the city the next day, people turning in these idiots to the police, people donating money and helping in anyway that they can to help rebuild the city is amazing. I was so ashamed to be apart of this city June 15th and now I can say that I am happy to be associated with the good people that take pride in the city to make it what it is.
