What Camera and Editing program do you use?
I have a Macbook Pro and use the built in iSight camera. I use iMovie09 as well as Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 to edit, and in some of my other videos I use my Flip Ultra for HD.

How do you come up with all your ideas for your videos?
Honesty, I wonder that sometimes as well. I’ve always been a very creative person with a huge imagination so pile the two together and boom!! awesome videos. Most of the time the ideas for my videos come to me from thinking or doing something over a long period of time and then I just get an idea that normal relates. Others are from random thoughts that seep into my head. lol, I guess that’s all I can really say.
Can you help me with my videos? Give me ideas?
Oh I wish I could help everyone, but the reality is, there is only one of me and I have very limited time even to do my own videos! Also, when I think of ideas in my head, I “see” how I want them to be executed, and if I try to explain it to others, most of the time they don’t get certain aspects or misconstrue the idea. So, in the end, the idea isn’t what it was intended to be. Also, a lot of times after I film a video, in editing I change the order, the appearance, and sometimes things I thought would go well, get cut out. Not to mention that fact that if every ideas I had for a video I gave to someone else, I wouldn’t have any of my own!!
Can you subscribe to my channel? Sub for Sub?
First, I never trade sub for sub. If you subscribe to my channel I hope you do so because you genuinely enjoy my videos, and thus I will treat you with the same respect. Having subscribers for the sake of subscribers is silly, I want genuine subscribers and fans who truly enjoy my videos, so I hope you feel the same about your videos. However, fell free to tell me check out your videos and if I like them, well of course I’ll subscribe!
Do you have an advice for someone who is just getting started on YouTube? Making their first video?
Boy do I ever, eventually I’d like to do a video, however, this will do for now! The most important thing I can tell you is that “Practice makes perfect”, don’t expect to be turning out amazing videos in the first couples one you do, unless you have experience help of some sort, look at my first couple! You are learning and taking risks, and thats good! In your first couple of videos find out what really suits your style and personality and what you enjoy doing, then center your videos around that! Experiment, experiment and experiment!! If you unsure of what to talk about, script something out, or make notes to yourself to keep you on track. Then once you done that, let’s talk technical.
The importance of a good video camera or webcam is essential!! You don’t have to go out and spend hundreds of dollars for this, I got my webcam for $37 and it works great! Think about it, people aren’t going to enjoy watching a video with bad sound and picture. Second, lighting is soooo important, get a desk lamp and shine it on your face when you make a video, now your illuminated and the world can see the true you! Third, editing program really make you shine! Get your hands on a good one and your be set for ages. However, most editing programs cost lots of money, but most computers already come with one! If you have a Mac, then iMovie, or a PC with Windows, then you probably have Windows Movie Maker.
Now that your ready to make your video, here is what you’ll expect. Haters. You cannot avoid these people, and chances are you are going to receive alot of them in your first few videos, don’t worry everyone gets them. They will say mean, inappropriate things about you, about your videos, and try to make you feel bad. So don’t! Don’t let then win, remember, the majority these people take pride in bring others down because it makes them and their lives seem better! So don’t let them , remember you hold the power to block and delete these comments, so do it. Just don’t let them discourage you into doing something you truly enjoy!
Now, this might make Youtube seem like a cold and hatefully place, but its not. There are so many nice and wonderful comments you’ll receive on your videos from people whom truly enjoy watching you. Stick it out for these comments, because these are the ones that make you continue! But just remember, videos are not for everyone, your never stuck with your decisions, and in the end you must always remember to do what is right for you.
Have fun and good luck!!!
