Hey Guys and Gals!!

So in case you haven’t noticed, I am currently travel around New Zealand!! AND I’ll be moving onto other places as well. Well, as your all might or might not know traveling cost money :/

SO, I was reading up on my blogs, and I’ve seen this tried before so I thought I would give it a go! In an attempt to fund some of my traveling I have created Personalized Hey Nadine Postcards!! Well, I don’t actually create the postcards, I buy the postcards :P

So how this works is like this,

I will be purchasing a variety of different and exciting postcards from my travels and will be handwriting a personalized message from me and then mailing them to you!!

A NOTE ON THE CARDS: Each card has no more than 5 duplicates, most are only singles of each as they are bought in packs of 10 or 20 all different from each place. Each card is written with a unique message to you about the card/place or something else related. (Because it actually is quicker, easier and a lot nicer to write out a new message from the top of my head, then it is to boring repeat the same generic one >.< ) ALSO, the message covers the whole backs of the cards, its not just a sentence or 2 :P

CURRENT POSTCARD COUNTRY: BALI, INDONESIA and CHINA!

So I have made the cost of these postcards

$5.00 CAN

(which is about $4.88 USD, €3.56 EURO)[ Click for more currency conversions]

This is to cover the cost of the Card $1.00, the Postage $1.80, Paypal fees $0.50, and then the remainder goes towards the time it takes to write the card as support towards my traveling. I believe it is a fair cost, and I hope you do to :) So let me know what you think and I hope you enjoy your postcard if you buy one!!

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR MAILING ADDRESS IS CORRECT!!

I’m very sorry if you make a mistake, but once it is sent I cannot change the address. ALSO, the cards should take about 6-10 working days (around 2 weeks) , however, I would probably give it a bit long since I am traveling and I can’t always get to a post office within a day or two :)

Hahei and Cathedral Cove

Hey Guys, so today starts the first part of my North Island tour! Now I’m not gonna be doing the whole north island because I am going to be heading east and then back to Auckland.

So we left Auckland bright and early to head east to Hahei in the Coromandel Peninsula. Again, I am traveling with Stray, encase you haven’t already noticed the pattern :P It’s because I bought a Stray Everywhere bus pass, which is their largest and most expensive pass you cna get. It cost me about $1150 NZD or about $875 CAN.

HOWEVER, this pass is valid for a whole year, and I can use it as many times as I like! ( apparently some guy did the circuit 4 time!) The pass covers just about everything exciting  or worth visiting in New Zealand. How it works is as a hop on hop on whenever you like, so if you really enjoy a spot you can hope off and spend some extra time. There are 2 other hop on hop off bus companies in New Zealand, Kiwi Experience and Magic, I just happened to go with Stray.

Anyways, so our first stop was at this place called Hot Water Beach. Where when the tide is out you dig into the sand where their is a natural spring that runs out into the ocean and thus create yourself a pool of hot water.

Unfortunately for us we fail at achieving a decent hole to make our own pool so we just commandeered someone else’s pre-made pool, :) Don’t you just love that word, Pirates of the Caribbean FTW!

After our hot pool stop we headed to Hahei and took a stop off at Cathedral Cove.Cathedral Cove

You have to hike in about 40 minutes to get to Cathedral Cove, however  it can easily be done in sandals and there is only one really tough stair part.

One really cool thing one of my fellow travelers pointed out was that this beach was apparently in the Narnia film, Prince Caspian. I guess I’ll have to do some double checking!

Hehe this is the best photo of the day, there was this rock in the water that remained me of the Little Mermaid, so I thought I would take a photo!

So to end of the day we actually had a huge BBQ where we cooked up burgers, steaks, sausages, made 3 different types of potatoes, and then this huge fruit salad which literally contained every single fruit you could possibly think of! I thought it was pretty great start to my trip :)

Revamping

Hey Everyone!

So, the website is going under some extensive renovations, as you could say. I’ve decided to put more focus into the site instead of just my video content. I figured this would be a more intensive and additional outlet for me, a much need outlet mind you. I’ve gonna be revamping my videos, and hopefully do a new video tomorrow to explain everything! Soo.. tell me what you think!!! I wanna hear what features you’d like to see on my site! What works, what doesn’t, I am all ears for feedback!!

Anyways…uh, I guess I need to work on this blogging thing eh?

New Facebook and Myspace!

Hey guys and gals!!

I just made anew facebook fan page and a new myspace page! Now I’ve only gotten a chance to fiddle with my facebook atm, but I’ll be getting to my Myspace probably tommorw! So feel free to add me as a friend, since I hope to be posting on there alot more requently with extra items and such :)

In Transition

Hey guys and gals!

I just launched a new version of my website! I’m still working out the kinks over the next day or so. I’m also looking to add some new more interactive features. Anyways! I’ll keep posting updates once I get things sorted out. One thing to note is that I’m gonna be redoing the banner after this weekend with whole new pictures set, so that is why it is kinda lame, and I will be making the width of the site a bit wider to accommodate pictures a bit better. Anyways! Let me know what you guys think!!
